whoo, it’s been so hot in oregon lately! today it was almost 90 degrees. i can’t handle it! it’s probably not too hot to some people but for me it’s just plain disgusting. hahaha. i am all grumpy and annoyed too since it’s so hot. no fun!

on my day off i went to “martinis & manicures” with one of my besties. it’s $10 to get your nails done and have a drink. i had a lemon drop for the first time and it was glorious. there was only one manicurist and there were a few girls in front of us so we decided to have another drink. we ordered cosmopolitans which were also pretty tasty. my friend got a bright yellow color for her nails and i got a color called “for audrey” because it is reminiscent of the signature tiffany & co blue.

after we got our nails did we wanted another drink so we went to a bar downtown and got some bloody marys. it was my first time having all these drinks and i gotta say, the bloody mary was my favorite. i asked for mine to be really spicy and it was amaaaaaazing. god, i just want a neverending supply of bloody maryss hahahah. while we were walking around we came across this hilarious food cart called “my daddy’s sausage.”
we thought it was pretty funny, especially with those creepy kid hand prints everywhere. overall, it was a great day off. i’m so busy working and i live so far away from most of my friends that i’m not able to have a lot of friends these days. it was a much needed escape. now here are some pictures for you lovers of mine!
